The blackmetal trio The Eternal Suffering was formed in 2001 and their early 2002 demo release, titled "Born of Chaos", was selected as Release of the Month in several magazines including Metal Hammer (GR) and well known webzines such as Metal Invader and Avopolis.

Their "In Darkness We Shall Reign" debut album was, once again, hailed by the press and voted as
Release Of The Month by Metal Hammer and numerous webzines.

The mastering of the album took place in Tampa, Florida in the famous Morrisound Studios by Jim Morris himself.

Their astonishing 2008 E.P, titled "Apognωsis", was definitely more than enough to ensure a record deal for the band.

Their second full length album, released under the title "Miasma" via I For An I Records & Media,
hit the stores in May 1st 2010!
